I’ve got my 10 miles of training in and I’m ready to make a drunken ass of myself.  It’s time to get serious about Ragbrai.  

 

Bus-  Has an appointment at the shop for Monday to get the brakes and other systems in Ragbrai condition.  May be adding a few things depending on how much the maintenance costs, including a beer delivery system from the bus to the deck.  

 

Driver-  Dede will likely not have a CDL, so same rules as last year apply.  For legal reasons we will be keeping the passenger limit on the trips to the start and from the finish to 15 passengers plus Dede.  This has limited us somewhat for spots on the team, so the roster is as follows.

NOTE:  You’ll notice there are more than 15 on the roster.  The limit to the number of team members applies only to the number of people on the bus for the trips to and from the start and finish.  If you have other arrangements for these legs of the trip, you may be added to the roster without additional spots opening.

 

Storage Tubs-  We will again be using the blue and grey Sterilite storage tubs for personal stuff.  Please limit personal belongings to those you are able to fit in these tubs.  If you still have your tub from previous Ragbrais, please bring it.

 

Sponsorship- We have sponsorship commitments including beer, schwag, jerseys and a companion promotional vehicle.   Sponsoring breweries are Left Hand from Colorado, and Dog Fish Head from Delaware….Hi…We’re in Delaware…

 

Web Site and Forum-  Get your ass to pfalcons.com and register for the forum goddamnit.

My cousin, Paul, and my niece, Gayle, are interested in joining the falcons, as well.  don't know what they're travel needs are.  They're both registered on here, but I don't think they've checked in recently.  I'll prompt them to do so.

I sent you a check today for the three of us (Jen, Sally, and myself). Thanks for taking the time to set this up.  What are the logistics of the bus This year. Same thing we all meet up Saturday morning at the Walmart?

Oh how I love the Walmart.   How am I going to get my ass from Chicago to Walmart?  Arun let's buy a used CTA bus and drive it to Walmart… then we can take 2 busses on the trip ,  ditch the Pflacon somewhere along the way in junk yard and convert the new diesel CTA pusher into the PFlacon2 for next year.
