I thought this was important so I put it in the announcements. I have nearly completed the beer dumbwaiter, which we will call the Beer-Zooka until a better name surfaces. Once someone looses a finger in it we will call it the guillatine. Beer is loaded at the bottom through the window of the bus and the beer is retrieved on the top deck. The inner pipe can be pulled to the top, where it latches in place until the doorknob, seen at the bottom of the picture, is turned, releasing the inner tube to hazardously plummet to the bottom. This feature confers a second purpose to the beer-zooka. One can place a piece of fruit at the bottom and use the descending tube to smash the fruit, yielding fresh juice to quench your thirst after a long ride. I have painted the outer tube metallic silver since taking this photo and will send an updated photo when it is complete. The Beer-zooka is pictured here loaded with Boulevard Pale Ale.

I am now confused where the party will be. On the top or on the side of the bus. One will have shade, while the other has a cool beer supplier.

I'm thinking I could make both happen up top. I'm that good.

Actually, I'm picturing a flinstones episode. You know the one where they have a canopy/flap on their RV and the RV tips over with a prehistoric gust.
Another Flistones comment… Picture the bus using people power with and all of our bikes on top. I hear the pitter patter of 50 feet right now. ….
Mike nice job on the Beer-Zooka.

So is it an on-demand kind of deal, or by request that a beer is put in and taken upwards? Is it gas powered or are we looking to have to do some physical labor?

Everything on this bus requires manual labor. In fact, every seat has a set of pedals that the passengers have to crank to get the thing up hills. Also, aparently the beer-zooka isn't very user friendly. I seem to be the only one who knows how to use it.
